We sell online and are operative 24/7. We offer in-house shopping in Milan on appointment only, please contact us by email (info@onthewaytojalalabad.com) to fix your personal appointment or if you have any questions. We like to hear from you. We are based in Milan, Italy.

The fastest way to contact us is writing an email to info@onthewaytojalalabad.com We will respond as soon as possible, usually within a few hours. In case you contact us from a time-zone outside Europe it might take longer.

Our customer service team can also handle your personal data requests in relation to your rights stated in our Privacy Policy. You can write to us at the above email address. If you wish to contact our Data Protection Officer, please include “DPO” as the subject line.
Shipping
We offer free shipping worldwide for orders above 40 euro (=Standard Shipping). Your order will be shipped within 3 business days (weekend not included). Your Standard Shipping orders will be send by registered mail (Poste Italiane) which can be slow. We also offer the choice to pay for Express Shipping in your cart at the payment if you want QUICK and the most secure delivery. Please be aware of these options.
We are not responsible for return shipping costs, loss in mail of package and delay at customs. For any questions, please contact us.
We offer shipment to the USA only by Express Courier service, and with tariffs included. After the $800 duty-free de minimis exemption ended in august 2025 extra duties need to be prepaid on top of shipping costs. The charge is 45€ euro for the shipping and 15% DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) will be calculated on your order total and added in the cart at checkout.
After taking care of shipping, DDP and all necessary matters on our side, we are NOT responsible for delay or loss or any complications at customs.

Our Products
Most of our jewelry is old or antique and has not been polished to preserve its aged authenticity. Most of our jewelry is (very) aged and handmade and can have imperfections due to these qualities. OnTheWayToJalalabad states and shows this in their product’s pictures. We estimate the years of production of our jewelry, based on our expertise and historical information, unless we have precise information.
In non-western countries the 925 mark for silver is often not used on silver jewelry. If our jewelry is not of high grade silver (tested) quality, we state this clearly in the item’s description. Nevertheless, even in high grade silver jewelry small amounts of other metals, like copper, bronze, are mixed and the exact components are not known to us.

ORDERS
For changing or cancelling a placed order please contact us, we accept returns within 14 days.
We will give you a refund for any returned item provided that it is returned in the same condition as it was upon your receipt.
Once we have received and registered the return, you will receive a return confirmation email. We are not responsible for return shipping costs.
