Description

Antique Moroccan coins earrings, these silver earrings carry antique Moroccan
coins and black lava stone beads. Newer 925 silver earhooks complete
these beautiful Moroccan earrings.
The coins show Arabic calligraphy and the Islamic year 1321 (1903 AC).

Lava beads were used in ‘parfume jewelry’; they absorb perfumes or
essential oils well and will keep smelling nice for a while. It’s also
considered a grounding stone one that can balance the emotions and bring
about calmness, strength and stability.

Wearing coins is believed to bring luck and affluence to the wearer.

Diameter coins 24 mm.

Found in the south of Morocco. When these were made is uncertain, the
hooks are newer and the coins antique.
